So much fun spending time with this wonderful group of women during our Food + Entertaining photo shoot .
Sitting at my desk I can see that the cherry trees outside of my window are about to bloom . This is one of my favorite times of the year as spring is always a time of renewal . And boy , do we need some beauty in our lives right about now ! Instead of dwelling on how hard this year has been for everyone , let ’ s choose to look forward to all the good things to come in 2021 .
We have pulled together a fantastic issue for you showcasing many designers and businesses around Charlotte . In this issue , we focus on interiors — there are some beautiful ones we are sharing with readers . I have known Cheryl Luckett for many years and am thrilled to feature one of her projects . I love the way her use of color adds energy and liveliness to a home . We also spotlight a Scandinavian-inspired home at Lake Norman .
Thank you to Tara Conrad for opening up her home , and specifically her loggia , for the fabulous outdoor entertaining photoshoot and feature . The Conrads ’ home is truly one of my favorite spots in Charlotte , and I have enjoyed many
