As I sit down to write this letter,
we are experiencing unusual times
in our country with the outbreak
of COVID-19. Anxiety levels are
high for everyone. At Peachy we all
work remotely, so our office is not as
affected by this crisis, but my heart
goes out to all of the small businesses
that are shutting down and rely on
the “human touch” to keep going.
My hope is that we will come together
as a country and this will be a time
of great care and compassion for the
elderly, our neighbors, and our fami-
lies. I hope that we will be able to raise
each other up even it is just a smile,
a wave, or a phone call. I hope that we
will be able to spend quality time with
our families and look back on this as
a time to slow down and rejuvenate.
We were so excited about our upcom-
ing Neiman Marcus runway event in
April, but it is being postponed until
we can make sense of the effects of
the virus. We will be back—even
better than before—and plan many
more events and social gatherings
once this time passes.
