AMERICAN OAK
2 ¼ ounces bourbon 1 teaspoon maple syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla bean syrup 2 – 3 dashes chocolate bitters
Stir all ingredients with ice, then strain into a glass with fresh ice. Garnish with an expressed orange twist.
CINNAMON HARVEST SOUR
1 ounce rye whiskey 1 ounce apple brandy ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice Shy ¾ ounce cinnamon syrup( see box) Egg white Grated cinnamon
Shake all ingredients without ice, add ice and shake, and strain into glass. Top with grated cinnamon.
CINNAMON SYRUP
Combine 2 parts sugar with 1 part water in a pot, adding about 6 broken / crushed cinnamon sticks, and heating until the sugar is dissolved( do not boil). Let sit overnight, then strain out the cinnamon sticks.
