Dr . Linda Himmelberger PDA President 2006-2007
My involvement with PDA began very soon after I began my practice . OSHA had come out with some very stringent regulations and I was really annoyed and fired up about the fact that government was imposing these additional regulations on us . I went to a local dental society meeting and I cornered the president of our local and said ‘ the PDA and the ADA have to do something about these regulations ,’ and he looked me right in the eye and said , ‘ you are organized dentistry and if you think something needs to be done , then you need to get involved .’ And I obviously took his words to heart , and have been involved with the PDA and ADA ever since .
