POSITIONING FOR EARLY DETECTION & INTERVENTION SIGNIFICANT EVENTS An Old-Time Favourite Sport with a Twist 24 March 2018 Doing it the Right Way The neighbourhood around Providence Care Centre (PCC) was buzzing with curiosity as the kids competed in the first- ever Robotics Table Soccer Tournament. The robots, with the help of human strategy and manipulation, would chase a soccer ball, shoot and score! Learning the rules and how to play was all part of the fun for the children that day. The kids had a great time making new friends with this novelty experience. Providence Care Centre (PCC) organised a workshop on “Dining Etiquette and Dressing.” Laughter would erupt in this class every so often. The ladies were discovering the right way or manners at the dining table and were tickled to learn that the Singaporean way of eating was not exactly acceptable in international dining etiquette. It was literally a hands- on experience as the females learned how to do simple things like holding their fork and knife correctly. It certainly gave the ladies added confidence at a fine dining occasion. They also learned about their body type and the dressing which accentuates all the right parts. 12 May 2017 14
