Stewardship Report FY 2017 - 18 SIGNIFICANT EVENTS Official Opening: An Extended Youth Centre DOW Chemical Handover Ceremony 11 November 2017 1 February 2018 It was an exciting year at Providence Care Centre (PCC) which saw the Official Opening of the Extended Youth Services Centre. The Centre at Blk 341 Jurong East Avenue 1 will give the young people in the neighbourhood the opportunity to drop-in and make friends, interact with their peers, and come together to develop some life-skills for the future. GOS celebrated the official handing over of our new green campus, which includes a brand-new running track and resurfacing of our parade square and basketball court from our sponsor DOW Singapore and partners KDY and Nippon Paint. GOH: Minister Desmond Lee PCC raised the bar of excitement in the neighbourhood as we introduced new activities such as the Robotics Table Soccer Tournament, Cupcake Baking Day and Art Jamming Programme. True Colours Festival 23-25 March 2018 Some of our Grace Orchard School (GOS) choir students had the privilege to perform as part of the combined SPED schools choir alongside renowned artistes with disabilities from all over the world at the Inaugural True Colours Festival held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The True Colours Festival is an Asia Pacific’s celebration of artistes with disabilities. 13
