MEMO FROM THE OFFICE
Bobcat Update : I spoke with Cowboy Critters on Monday , August 15 . They were going to relocate the traps and keep them up for one more week until August 21 . The office cannot send out any more mass emails . We were shut down by Cable One on Tuesday the 9th for exceeding the email quota and again shut down Thursday , the 11th by their system . The tech at Cable One told me they had over 100 email addresses mark the POA email as spam . That doesnʼt mean each person marked our email address as spam , but can also mean their email provider didnʼt recognize the POA and kicked the email into spam . The office cannot afford to be shut down by Cable One as this is the way we receive escrow disclosure requests and communication from Yavapai County and communication from the members . Skateboarders : I was able to speak with the two young men who skateboard on Manzanita and Old Chisholm . I explained the members concern they may get hit by a car . They said they were not looking to cause any problems and they would skateboard elsewhere . Both young men were very polite and one mentioned he was in the service . Streets : Please remember the streets belong to Yavapai County and are open to anyone . We cannot stop solicitors . Property owners can post “ No Soliciting ” signs on their property to try to keep unwanted people from knocking on their door . However , this doesnʼt always work . Leash Law : Dogs need to be on a leash at all times and please pick up after your dog . It is not neighborly to leave dog droppings in front of someoneʼs home . Weeds , Trash , Debris , Miscellaneous Items : The monsoons are at an end . Please look out your front and back window . If you see weeds on your property 12 inches or taller , cut them down . The office sends out between 200 and 250 weed letters per season . Anyone needing a copy of the CC & Rʼs to give to prospective tenants , you can get them from the POA website which is pccpoa . com under the documents section . Do not accumulate “ stuff ” on your property . Please put all items in an area that is not seen by the public . Remove dead tree branches and other debris from the property . If you feel there is too much to do to clean up your property , call me and I can give you a few referrals to help you . Letʼs think of September as a major cleanup time , and you never know what you may find that you will be able to sell at the October 1 garage sale . PCC NEWSLETTER : The Property Ownerʼs Association , the PCC Newsletter , and the Prescott Golf & Country

If you have concerns about any article in the newsletter , please contact the owner , Jan Dowling , at 928-772-0849 with your concerns . POA WEBSITE : Since I wonʼt be able to do any more mass emails , please visit the POA website for notices and updates : www . pccpoa . com
I would like to thank everyone for helping keep our community safe and attractive .

FROM THE DESK OF THE POA PRESIDENT
To all PCC residents and landowners ,
As most are well aware the rainy season is upon us and along with it comes the weed season , and they are growing like … well , weeds ! There are some areas in the country club that are perpetually overgrown with weeds and grass and these areas need to be addressed . Please keep the weeds on your property , rental or otherwise , cut down . It makes the entire Country Club look unkempt and trashy when just a few residences are overrun with weeds . We should all be proud of the areas we live in and strive to keep them looking neat and clean .
We have CC & Rs that prohibit weeds over 12 inches in height and these ordinances will be enforced to keep us a respectable looking community . There are a limited number of people who are reporting uncontrollable weed problems and we would like to see more folks volunteer to patrol their areas and report any problems . If anyone has an issue with weeds or eyesores , please call the POA office at 772-6118 and tell someone there about it so we can get the problems resolved . Also , if anyone would like to volunteer to be on a weed control unit , please contact the office or call me personally at 237-9135 .
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in keeping our community one of the very best places to live in the Prescott area .
Bob Heise , President PCC POA
