AGUA FRIA FESTIVAL
You have heard the news that The Dewey – Humboldt
Historical Society will be presenting the Agua Fria Festival
on Oct. 1 this year. We have been excited for this event
and with much planning all year for this to be a day of fun
for the entire family. It will be held on Main St. in DeweyHumboldt. The day will start at 8 am with a pet parade(bring
your pet dressed up) this is always a favorite for everyone.
At 9 am The Main Street Parade will be lining up with the
Scottish American Military leading the way. The Western
Art & Craft Vendors along with Music thru out the day with
Karmen & Company, Games for the kids, pony rides and
much more to enjoy. Have you wanted to learn how to Pan
for Gold or maybe you could try to win a Gold Nugget from
the raffles. The GPAA will be there for the day to teach you
how its done. With Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Kettle Corn and
more this will be the perfect day to plan to sit and watch
the Prescott Regulators with their Shady Ladies doing their
reenactment of the Old West. There will be something for
the young and the young at heart. The Admission Buttons
are now available at the businesses thru out the town and
also at the D-H Museum. Get your buttons before the day
of the event for $2 the day of the Agua Fria Festival they will
go for $3. Congratulations go to Teresa from Mrs. Tuckers
Art Class at Bradshaw Mountain Middle School. Again this
year we had to choose from so many great entries for this
contest. So many talented students with great imagination.
Thank you for the teachers who inspire these students.
There is still time to sign up for the Parade or be a vendor.
Everyone is welcome and the Dewey-Humboldt Historical
Society looks forward to having you all join in on this day of
fun.!!
