events at the PV library – 7401 E. Civic Circle PV Conifers of AZ & Hiking Selected Forested Trails  Hiking in Arizona in the summer requires hiking high to stay cool.  Why not get more out of these hikes by being able to identify the conifers that you will see along the way?  We will review all of Arizona’s conifers and learn to use a handy new tool to make their identification easy and reliable.  With over 4,000 plants in Arizona, we all could use a little help.  Since hiking on Spruce Mountain, Mount Union, the Cabin Loop Trail, the Highline Trail and places like West Fork also involve a number of noteworthy wildflowers, we will take a peek at them too.  Presented by Ted Johnson, Library Coordinator in Spring Val- ley (MS Botany from ASU).  Saturday May 12th from 1 to 2:30 - PC Lab Paper, Print, Bind - Prescott Valley Public Library (7401 E Civic Circle Dr. Prescott Valley, AZ.).
