PCC POA General membership Meeting Minutes
Prescott Country Club Property Owners Association General Membership Meeting www . pccpoa . com December 6 , 2017 The following Minutes will be approved subject to corrections at the next General Membership Meeting .

Date & Time : Pursuant to Section 7.0 of the POA Bylaws , a General Membership meeting of the Board of Directors was held Wednesday , December 6 , at 6:00 PM at the Property Owners Association Activity Center .
Officers and Quorum : The President , Bob Heise , opened the meeting at 6:00 PM and the Secretary , Brian Biggs , took Minutes . The following additional Board Members were present : Dave Paulin , Gracelyn Palmer , Mary Kloeppel , and Don McGlamery . Theresa Ritcher and Stephen Gonzalez were not present .
Minutes : Brian Biggs made a Motion to accept the October 4 , 2017 General Membership Meeting Minutes without reading them . The Motion was seconded by Dave Paulin and passed unanimously .
Treasurer ’ s Report : Don McGlamery informed the membership that the POA finances are in excellent shape . The POA is again discounting dues by $ 10 ( from $ 48 to $ 38 for 2018 ) to further reduce surplus funds .
2018 Board of Directors Elections : Gracelyn Palmer asked for any additional ballots . None were submitted . There were two uncounted ballots . Gracelyn asked for counting volunteers and then opened the two remaining ballots and tallied the results . The election results are : 260 Votes : Donna Chisum - elected 230 Votes : Mary Kloeppel - elected 210 Votes : Mike Mathews 152 Votes : Peter Barnett
Town Hall : Kim Benson asked about building a walking trail down the center median of PCC Blvd . The discussion was postponed until the Board of Directors meeting immediately following . Jeff Meyers , the new food and beverage manager of the golf course , introduced himself and handed out new menus for the club restaurant . The prices have been reduced to be more in line with the area demand . Mike Mathews asked about how the upcoming Board vacancy will be filled . The Board informed Mike that the open position will be advertised in the new year and then the Board will appoint the applicant or have a blind ballot if there are multiple applicants . Mike Mathews introduced Dustin Henderson as the new General Manager of the golf course . Mike Mathews asked about turning the street lights on in PCC Blvd . Don McGlamery gave the history of the street lights , indicating that the membership did not want to pay for street lights for the entire community at the time . The golf course independently contacted APS to install and pay for the street lights . A future owner of the golf course later turned off the street lights , because they no longer wanted to pay the bill . Don McGlamery agreed to add a discussion item in the next Board of Directors meeting . Don requested that Mike contact APS to determine the monthly cost of turning on the street lights . Donna Chisum suggested that Mike also ask about solar lights , which might be less expensive to operate . Mike Mathews questioned the terminology used in the PCC- POA accounting , suggesting that it was non-standard or incorrect . Don McGlamery noted that the accounts were as set up by the accounting firm hired by PCC-POA . Donna Chisum agreed to obtain copies of the accounts and review them to help make a determination as whether any changes would be warranted . John Chisholm asked Mike Matthews if he intended to build the townhomes . Mike said that the process began before he became the owner of the golf course . The re-zoning was approved in October . Mike said that his intent was to focus on the golf course and not to build condos . Adjournment : At 6:45pm , Dave Paulin made a motion to adjourn the meeting . The motion was seconded by Don McGlamery and the meeting was adjourned .
