Strumica's Children's Parade a Real Scream

Vevchani's Carnival is one of the most well known events of the year:
insanely creative costumes, a parade that puts many others to shame,
and an infectious atmosphere that puts everyone in a great mood.
Strumica’ carnival is usually a very close second. Although death,

destruction, and the looming of evil presences is all make believe in
Vevchani, this year Strumica was the real deal.
I was accompanying Star Dojran’ students to the event after

weeks of costume work and excitement. The students were arguing
