Potential guests regularly enquired about the difference between superior and standard double rooms.
The proprietors spent hours explaining the decor and size of each room before securing a booking.
As the guest house only has 7 rooms, it was
possible to “merchandise” each room by
creating an online brochure with detailed
images of each room.
I created the interactive pdf file using
InDesign then uploaded it to the Issuu online
magazine platform.
The publication could be shared with
potential guests and embedded across
social media and the hotel website.
The analytic tools behind the Issuu platform give a
great insight into where potential guests are from.
This has been valuable when planning facebook
campaigns.
Since the publication was uploaded guests now request
specific rooms and bookings of the standard rooms has
also increased.
Guests can now see that the standard rooms are just as
beautifully decorated but are simply smaller.
