She said, as if she were having a conversation with somebody. Maybe it was to cope with how lonely she was, all alone in the Enchanted Forest. She stuck her hand inside the box and pulled up a piece of paper. The paper had a sickening yellow tone and the ripped edges were curling in and were a rotten brown color. It was old and wrinkled, and was rolled up and tied with a rubber band. It reminded her of the message you’ d find in a bottle. She took off the rubber band and flattened out the paper on the floor with her palms.
She blew the dust away and looked closer. It seemed to be a map. There were 6 locations on it. At the gates with the gnome, the cottage she was at right now, a place called“ unicorn valley” and a long river. Halfway down the river there was a place called Fairy Forest. There was a path leading through it. The final destination was called“ the magical stream” Allies face lit up.“ It’ s a map to the stream!” She cried out, stumbling out of the cottage with the map in her hand. She headed left, ready for the next destination.
She walked and walked for what seemed to be forever until she noticed a small pond. The water was crystal clear and purple fish jumped around like dolphins. There was a small wall of rocks surrounding the pond, all covered in a thick layer of green moss. She saw a stream of more crystal-clear water on the right that poured into the stream like a tiny waterfall. She looked to her right, astonished to see a unicorn before her. She was white and looked soft. She had a pink mane and tail. Her golden horn sparkled in the moonlight. Her hoofs were pink too and so was her nose. She neighed and walked over to Allie.“ Woah, this might be the craziest thing that’ s ever happened to me!” She spoke.
The unicorn walked up to her and put her head down. Allie ran her finger along her back; she was so soft. It reminded Allie of touching a cloud. She felt her mane and tail; it felt like silk. She looked in front of her and gasped as more unicorns came jogging in like a flock of birds. Some were purple, some were blue, some were even rainbow. The pink unicorn stayed next to Allie as she walked around, seeing all the others. She looked back over to the pink one and saw a name printed in her back. It read“ Clarissa”. Allie pets her back again.“ Aw, what a pretty name. Clarissa.” She said, still running her fingers along her soft back.
At that moment Clarissa bent down, signaling for Allie to get on her back. Allie got on snd Clarissa neighed at her.“ Do you want this girl?” Allie said, hangin her the map. Clarissa took it from Allie’ s hand with her teeth gently. Allie pointed to the magic stream.“ This is where I’ m headed.” Clarissa immediately took if running, almost sending Allie flying off her back. Allie held on tight as they road and before she knew it, they were already at the next destination, the river. She hopped off the unicorn’ s back and the Clarissa dropped the map from her mouth into Allies hand. Allie thanked her and gave her a big hug before the magic horse galloped off into the distance back to her home in the valley with the others.
Allie smiled as she walked away, headed to the river before her. She stood before the river, gazing into the strong current below. Allie looked at her map. She ran her finger along the river on the paper.“ I need to ride this river halfway down and get off before walking to the last destination, the magic stream.” Said Allie, tying back her hair with the hair tie on her wrist. She looked around, gathering large pieces of wood and vine. She put all the wood together and tied it up with the strong vines. Before she knew it, she had a makeshift raft that had to get her down the river. She really hoped this would work because she knew she could drown it it didn’ t. She gulped down the thought and tightened her ponytail. She checked the map again, and noted she had to get off the river at the fairy forest, then walk through that and walk a few more miles to get to the stream.
