2018-2019 Youth Apprenticeship
Youth Apprenticeship program is a part of a statewide School-to-Work initiative managed through
the Department of Workforce Development. This one or two year elective program designed for
juniors and seniors, combines academic and technical instruction with mentored on-the-job learning.
The Youth Apprenticeship Program is managed by different consortiums and its availability differs by
school district. Instructional coursework affiliated with this program can take place through secondary
coursework, transcribed credit coursework or coursework offered directly at the Technical College.
