Throughout the history of breeding purpose bred
dressage horses, there have been stallions who
have had a more significant influence on the breed
than others. Here, we are giving a nod to some of
the stallions who have had a large influence on the
modern dressage horse. It is by no means an ex-
haustive list and no disparagement is menat to stallions not included here. These stallions are not listed
in order of perceived import. We have chosen these
stallions for their ability as sires, not performance
horses.
Bolero - Hanoverian
