Siempre que conversaba con mi amigo Fernando Risso sobre la problematica del Caballo Peruano de Paso terminabamos discutiendo porque veiamos las cosas de distintas formas y puntos de vista hasta que decidimos hacer el Primer Campeonato de Eficiencia del Caballo de Paso donde cioncidimos en que debiamos hacer algo distinto que cambie la monotonia de los concursos y le de mas valor a aquellos caballos que no sobresalen en estos ademas de que los chalanes demuestren como en otros razas y paises que tan buenos jinetes son. Otra cosa importante en la cual coincidimos es que la objetividad de este campeonato seria el pilar fundamental para que la gente se anime a participar.
Ultimamente se hacen muchos concursos y la verdad es que cada vez tienen menos atractivo para el publico y hasta para aquellos que solo son propietarios de Caballos de Paso. Si no eres un criador medio grande no tienes mucho chance de sobresalir en un Concurso de Caballos de Paso y el publico

When talking with my friend Fernando Risso on the problems of the Peruvian Paso Horse we always ended up disagreeing because we see things in different ways and have different points of view. Until we decided to make the first Efficiency Championship of the Peruvian Paso Horse, where we agreed that we had to do something different to change the monotony of the horse shows and give more value to those horses that do not stand out, and in addition to that give the chalanes an opportunity to demonstrate how good of riders they are, as is done in other breeds and countries. Another important thing in which we agree is that the objectivity of this championship would be the fundamental pillar for people to encourage them to participate, removing the subjective element which comes from judging.
