At Pasco-Hernando State College, 5,542 local students did just that in the 2024-25 academic year. Together, those families saved over $ 4.15 million in tuition, about $ 750 per student.

Even more impressive?

154 students earned their Associate in Arts while still in high school. During the spring 2025 graduation, 123 dual enrollment students from Pasco County and 31 from Hernando County graduated with their Associate in Arts from PHSC. Of those students, 10 were honored as valedictorians and five as salutatorians in their respective high schools.
