>> Foundation Honorary Board Member Rich Williams and his wife Connie, as well as Martha Newson, generously provided gifts designated to the Williams Family Educational Scholarship. Since its inception in 2019, four students have benefited from this scholarship fund.
>> The Rotary Club of Spring Hill recently provided a generous gift designated to the Rotary Club of Spring Hill Jim Smith Scholarship, an endowed fund established in memory of the longtime Rotarian and community leader. This scholarship will support students, with a preference given to Hernando County residents and those pursuing careers in finance, carrying Jim’ s legacy forward for years to come. Since 1995, the Rotary Club of Spring Hill has awarded 44 scholarships to PHSC students, totaling over $ 24,000 through funds established by the club.
>> Nursing students continue to receive support through the Janis L. Hill Scholarship thanks to the generosity of her family. Janis graduated from PHSC’ s Nursing program in 2005, and her legacy continues to provide nursing students with the opportunity to pursue their dreams. Since its
Janis L. Hill inception in 2020, scholarships have been provided to 29 students who are following in Janis’ s footsteps to better the lives of others.
>> PHSC employees who are experiencing financial hardship have access to critical support thanks to the generosity of Foundation Honorary Board Member Ron May and his wife, Vicki May. In 2020, the Mays established the Bobcat Emergency Relief Fund for Employees to assist PHSC employees who were financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Their generosity continues to provide meaningful relief, helping employees navigate unexpected financial challenges and maintain stability during difficult times.
>> The Gulfcoast Homing Club( GHC) Ladies Auxiliary provided a generous gift in support of student scholarships. Their support will continue to make higher education possible for PHSC students.

>> Provost Emerita Donna Burdzinski, Ed. D., and Foundation Board Member Ken Burdzinski continue to remove financial obstacles for students through the Burdzinski / Epperson Family Scholarship. Since this scholarship was established in 2006, 14 students have received financial support through the Burdzinski / Epperson Family Scholarship.
>> James Kupferer continues to honor his brother’ s legacy by supporting students through the Harry F. Kupferer Memorial Scholarship.
>> Through their recent gift, Chris Stambaugh and Helen Huntley continue to make a meaningful investment in the students of PHSC. Their generosity helps remove financial barriers, empowers students to stay focused on their academic goals and strengthens the College’ s commitment to providing accessible, high-quality education for the community.
>> In addition to his service as treasurer on the Foundation Board, Skip Miller continues to support the advancement of PHSC through his contributions to the Friends of the Foundation Fund, which helps address and support the evolving needs of the College.
>> David Eisenberg continued his support of PHSC through his generosity designated to the Aviation program and the Friends of the Foundation Fund, helping to advance the mission of PHSC.
