As part of Governor Ron DeSantis’ s Linking Industry to Nursing Education( LINE) Fund, PHSC has been awarded $ 270,000 for the 2025-26 academic year. The competitive, dollar-for-dollar matching fund supports partnerships between participating educational institutions and health care providers. Announced in January, DeSantis approved the College’ s recommendation as part of his $ 20 million investment into LINE funding. The PHSC Foundation received
$ 200,000 from Tampa General Hospital, $ 50,000 from AdventHealth and $ 20,000 from BayCare Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, totaling $ 270,000. PHSC President Eric Hall, Ed. We are grateful for our community’ s and state’ s continued investment in programs that support student success and a stronger health care workforce.” The College will receive matching funds from the state, which will be used toward advancing high-quality nursing education.
