PHSC President Eric Hall, Ed. D., experienced two important milestones as the College’ s sixth president in 2025. His first significant event occurred on October 17, 2025, when President Hall participated in his inaugural All College Day at the West Campus. As the College’ s signature professional development training day, the annual event encourages employees to build camaraderie, participate in growth opportunities and celebrate collective achievements. Last year’ s theme,“ Fall into the Future,” inspired the institution to think optimistically as we move forward as a unified team. As the event’ s keynote speaker, President Hall shared his personal journey and upbringing as a PHSC alumnus, using the opportunity to further immerse himself in the PHSC community and connect with his new colleagues. Through engaging outdoor activities and meaningful conversations, President Hall familiarized himself with the campus culture and the true meaning behind the Bobcat identity.
To conclude the fall 2025 semester, President Hall celebrated the achievements of PHSC’ s summer and fall graduates during his inaugural commencement ceremony on December 10, 2025. Reflecting on his

own journey, President Hall’ s keynote speech included a piece of advice to graduates:“ As an alum, I want to share something I wish someone had told me on my own graduation day: you don’ t need to have everything figured out right now. Your direction will evolve. You will discover new interests, new strengths and new possibilities.” He encouraged the class of 2025 to remain open to change and to focus on“ continuous growth and continuous improvement.” Welcoming graduates into the alumni community, the full-circle moment honored over 960 eligible graduates, conferring more than 300 degrees and certificates during the ceremonies.
