COLLEGE UPDATE

The moments captured in photos here document an important juncture in the history of Pasco-Hernando State College – the transition of leadership to Jesse Pisors , Ed . D ., the College ’ s fifth president , from Timothy Beard , Ph . D .

During the transitionary period beginning on January 8 , 2024 , Beard introduced the president-elect to legislators , trustees and community stakeholders . Farewell events honored the retiring president as Pisors ’ calendar filled with College and community activities and meetings . Beard ’ s retirement was official on January 31 . February 1 , 2024 marked Pisors ’ first official day as PHSC President .
