The PHSC Foundation hosted a gala this past May at the Instructional Performing Arts Center ( IPAC ) in celebration of the College ’ s 50th anniversary . Community stakeholders , donors , board members , alumni and staff gathered to enjoy performances by talented musicians . The evening also recognized and honored PHSC President Dr . Timothy L . Beard ’ s years of service dedicated to PHSC and education .
Remarks were provided by College leadership , community leaders and friends and family of Dr . Beard in between performances . Beard closed the evening by sharing about his life and his career in higher education and expressing his appreciation to those who have made it possible .
