Why do you think philanthropy matters ? Philanthropy matters because it gives people the opportunity to do things that they may not be able to do themselves . This can be for school or other organizations , such as the Stars Stripes & Smiles event that we just recently had at PHSC . Philanthropy helps individuals of all ages to receive an education that they may not have been able to achieve by themselves . It allows them to develop into the person that they know and want to be . It can encourage someone to branch out to a study that they have always wanted but unfortunately were unable to pay for completely themselves . All of this is possible because of the giving people that are interested in people being able to continue their education and become the best versions of themselves .
Would you like to say anything to those who make scholarship opportunities happen for the students of PHSC ? I would just like to say that I am extremely grateful for receiving this opportunity . Thank you for making it as easy as you can to apply for these scholarships and offering such a wide variety to the students . It has allowed me to continue my education in the field that I love , and I am sure it has for many other students as well .
