Foundation Board Elects New Leadership

The PHSC Foundation recently welcomed new members and leadership positions at their January annual organizational meeting . The Board elected a new chair and vice chair position , in addition to the approval of two members . Officers serve a voluntary two-year term , while members are appointed to annual terms .
Officer nominations included R . Seth Mann , Esq ., Dade City , as chair and the Honorable Barbara-Jo Bell , Spring Hill , as vice chair . Seth Mann is a local attorney who joined the PHSC Foundation in 1998 . Over the years , he has held many leadership positions and is the proud father of four PHSC alumna . Mann was instrumental in the partnership with the Hardy Benevolent Trust Fund which helped raise over $ 1 million in funding to establish a nursing scholarship endowment at PHSC in 2020 . The Honorable Barbara-Jo Bell was recently appointed by Gov . Ron Desantis to serve as a Judge on the Hernando County Courts and has been involved with the PHSC Foundation for seven years .

The PHSC Foundation Board also unanimously approved two new members . George Angeliadis , Spring Hill , and Brandon May , New Port Richey , who were elected to serve an initial one-year term . Angeliadis is a local attorney with Lucas , Macyszyn & Dyer Law Firm . May serves as the President of Morton Plant North Bay Hospital . The PHSC Foundation is excited to welcome these new board members and looks forward to their service during the next year .
After serving for six years , Commissioner Seth Weightman completed his term on the board and Ron May concluded his term as board chair . Greg Lenners also concluded his time as chair of the Governance Committee . We are incredibly thankful for their endless contributions and service to the Foundation over the years !
