Welcoming Bobcats Back to Campus During Week of Welcome( WOW)

PHSC welcomed over 10,000 registered students for the fall 2025 semester and celebrated the beginning of the new academic year during the College’ s Week of Welcome( WOW) festivities. Throughout the first two weeks of the academic year, students encountered friendly faces and kind greetings from PHSC faculty and staff collegewide. In the first week, faculty, staff and administration were on hand to assist students in navigating the campus and addressing any questions. New students were also introduced to essential resources, explored clubs, organizations and community opportunities. Eric Hall, Ed. D., PHSC President, spent the first day of his inaugural Welcome Week visiting each campus, interacting with students, sharing his personal journey as a proud alumnus and welcoming new students to the exciting start of the semester.

Following the first week of classes, the Student Life and Leadership department organized a variety of engaging activities and informational workshops, including Bobcat Fest, Wellness Wednesday and Boomer’ s Birthday Bash to honor PHSC mascot Boomer the Bobcat’ s eighth

birthday. The week-long celebration created an enjoyable atmosphere for students to alleviate their start-of-thesemester stress, connect with peers and immerse themselves in the collegiate experience.
