PHSC Foundation 5K Run

The inaugural PHSC Foundation 5K Run was held on Saturday, September 6, at Pasco-Hernando State College’ s East Campus in Dade City! Eddie Williams, Ed. D., the Program Director / Professor, Social and Human Services at PHSC, had the idea to host a 5K to benefit the PHSC Foundation. As an avid runner himself and having previous experience organizing PHSC 5K Runs, this event was a wonderful way to bring the community together to raise funds for mental health and well-being initiatives at PHSC. The Foundation appreciates Williams’ vision and coordination of the 5K Run and is thankful for the many volunteers of faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members who participated in this event.

Overall Winners: Male:

• Evan Patak – first place

• Eddie Williams – second place

• Pietro Inglese – third place

Female:

• Beata Tkaczyk – first place

• Odette Booysen – second place

• Canata Sosa – third place
