The women’ s softball team had a rough start to the season but bounced back with a strong performance, finishing the season at 30-26 overall and 15-15 in the Sun-Lakes Conference.

Flag Football

The women’ s flag football team made history this season, securing their first-ever win. This milestone marked a significant achievement in the program’ s young history. The season’ s conclusion saw two players featured on the 2025 All-Conference team: # 15 Peyton Knettel-King and # 2
# 2 Carolyn Parker Carolyn Parker.

Soccer

The women’ s volleyball team had a challenging start to the season but showed resilience as they picked up momentum. Elizabeth McDonald, # 11 Outside Hitter, played a key role in the team’ s success, leading the team with 280 kills throughout the season.
The team clinched a spot in the Sun-Lakes Conference tournament after a series of impressive wins, including a six-game winning streak. Their season ended at the FCSAA DII Volleyball Championship in Pensacola, Fla.
The women’ s soccer team kicked off the season with a historic performance in Raleigh, North Carolina, securing two dominant victories over Wake Technical Community College and Louisburg College. These wins marked the program’ s first-ever NJCAA victories in its short three-year history. Despite facing challenges later in the season, the team wrapped up the season with a 2-9 record.

Change in Leadership

After more than 30 years at PHSC, from being the college’ s first baseball coach to the athletic director, Steve Winterling retires, handing the bat to Men’ s Baseball Head Coach, Lyndon Coleman, who has served the PHSC baseball team since 2016.
