Kellie Mercado, Port Richey, has worked as a
supervisor at St. Luke’s Surgical Center for the past
eleven years. She has three children ages 20, 18, and 15.
Mercado plans to return to PHSC in the future and earn
her nursing degree.

Brittany
Almond, Port
Richey, continued
her education at St. Leo University where she
earned her degree in healthcare management.
For the past 10 years, Almond has worked as an
office manager for a local cardiac surgeon. She
is married and has a two-year-old daughter.
Victoria German, Tampa, received her
Bachelor of Science in Marketing from
the University of South Florida in 2016.
Currently, German is an event coordinator
for IQPC Exchange Careers.
2015
Brittany with husband, Bernie, and daughter, Skyla.
Margo-Ann McNamara, Zephyrhills, is currently pursuing her Bachelor
of Science in Nursing degree. After receiving her BSN, McNamara plans
to continue her education and become a nurse practitioner specializing in
psychiatrics. Both McNamara and her daughter, Mackenzie-Ann, have a passion
for dogs and volunteer with ABARS Dog Rescue. She also serves as the leader
for her daughter’s Girl Scout troop.
2016
Courtney Benito, Dade City, received an Associate of Arts
degree in 2014 and graduated with a Bachelor of Applied
Science degree in 2016. Benito is currently working on a Master
of Education degree in Instructional Design and Technology
from the University of West Florida. She works at PHSC as a
Senior Office Assistant, Faculty Support, and hopes to continue
her career in higher education.
