PHSC Foundation Board Director, Andy Barnes and
his wife Molly, provided a $10,000 contribution
toward the Lucy Morgan First Generation in College
Scholarship. Their generosity allowed for the
Foundation to receive an additional $10,000 from the Florida
state legislature in matching dollar for dollar allocations through
the First Generation Matching Grant Program.
Karen Boyer and Alfred J. Boyer continued their
investments in education with donations of $1,000
each toward the Ken Boyer Memorial Scholarship.
Psetas, Moore & Tetlow, P.A. provided a $1,000
presenting sponsorship of the annual Salute to
Veterans performance this past November. Proceeds
from the event benefit the PHSC Veterans Fund.
Mr. George Psetas, United States Army veteran and PHSC
Foundation director, addressed the crowd and welcomed
attendees to the performance.
The Seven Springs Rotary Club continued their
long term history of educational investments by
donating $4,000 toward their Seven Springs Rotary
Club Scholarship.
The PHSC Take Stock in Children (TSIC) Hernando
County was designated as a 2017 grantee from the
Hernando County Sheriff’s Youth Charities.
The $2,000 gift will assist TSIC mission to promote
personal growth, responsibility, and academic success for
deserving low-income children by providing a unique set of
resources including mentors, scholarships, long-term support,
student advocacy, and a guaranteed educational opportunity.
The Holiday Rotary Club recently contributed
an additional $1,000 to their scholarship fund. The
Holiday Rotary Club Scholarship was established in
1990 to provide scholarships to PHSC students who
demonstrate financial need and reside in West Pasco.
