ATHonored ACADEMIC SUCCESS CENTER DEDICATION
PHSC students , faculty and staff have benefited from the generosity of Suncoast Credit Union for many years . A partnership that began in 2001 has resulted in more than $ 368,000 supporting a variety of college initiatives . Their gift in 2023 provided funding for pre-collegiate programs , All College Day , the Bobcat Pantries and student scholarships , which assisted nearly 30 first-generation students .
In recognition of their support at PHSC , the Academic Success Center ( ASC ) at the West Campus , East Campus and the Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch have been named in honor of Suncoast Credit Union .
The Academic Success Centers located on each campus provide guidance and support to assist PHSC students in reaching their academic and personal goals . Each ASC has tutoring services and additional resources available to help students overcome challenges to achieve academic success .
