working on music, listening to music, or something else. It’s not hard for me to find the motivation to get up and go into the studio. There are always songs to be written and songs to be finished; there is always something for me to do. Although, there are some days where I wake up and I go down to the studio and I’ll be like I need to go work on this today, and there are other days where it’s just not working. I’ve learned in time that when I get these days, not to force it. It’s those days where you go out and watch a movie and turn off the studio for a day. You can only really do it when the inspiration is there. It is also that the novelty wears off; it makes you not be happy with something mediocre. I am my harshest critic, working in the studio alone you are harder on yourself, that’s why you bring in people to help polish something up. You share ideas and collaborate. How long did it take for you to start and complete your album? I started about two years ago, and some songs I wrote years ago, and other songs mostly longer than that. But I would say it took me about two years because it has to be ready, it has to be right. You can’t just push something out. Www.PartyTimeMagazine.com Would you say that most of the male Vocalists are underrated? There’s a lot more males out there, more guys in these tracks but I think in general most of these Vocalists are forgotten about, and some writers are men behind the scenes. But I’ve seen a lot more male Vocalists. Anything you are working on the studio now that you are done with your album? Yeah I’m working on a few treats which I can’t speak about at the moment but I can tell you about the project that I worked on with BT called All Hail the Silence. We are working on a few more special things in the studio, now that we finished that album and some other stuff for 2014. But right now I’m thinking of taking some time and relaxing for a few weeks off now that this album is done. And when I release more stuff we can talk about it on the next interview. For sure!
