Fishing
Currently, a number of locations for fishing are provided
within the LMPRD system. Fishermans Park, Jefferson Memorial
Forest, Waverly Park, Chickasaw Park, McNeely Lane Park and
other parks provide access points for fishing. There are a number
of places used for fishing along the Ohio River as well. Planning for
new fishing locations on the Ohio River should be coordinated
with the recommendations of the Ohio River Corridor Master
Plan, the River Road Scenic Corridor Management Plan and the
Kentucky Division of Fish and Wildlife.
