Chicken Fried
Steak
For the batter:
2-3 eggs
1/2 pint (8 oz.) dark beer
Whisk eggs; whisk in beer.

For the breading:
2-1/4 C. flour
2 T. salt
1 T. garlic powder
1/2 T. black pepper
1/2 T. white pepper
1/2 T. onion powder
Combine all, using a whisk to combine.
Pound out steak to about 8” diameter. Season meat
liberally with Montreal steak seasoning. Wrap each
individually in plastic and freeze in a single layer
on sheet tray.
Once frozen, place a steak in the seasoned flour.
Remove and put in the batter. Put back into the
flour, and again into the batter, and once more,
with the final breading pushed a little into the steak.
