including the Parker County Health Foundation, East
Parker County Chamber, the Weatherford Chamber,
the Springtown Chamber, the Denison Chamber, the
Sherman Chamber, TALU, and IBAT.
Q: What is your favorite book?
A: I read the Bible every day, but, for recreational reading my
favorite is, A Time To Kill by John Grisham.
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: The Prince of Egypt. It’s an animated film for children.

Q: What kind of music are you into?
A: Traditional Country Western, Gospel or Singer-Songwriter
music. I like music that has a message.

Q: What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?
A: Besides running for Republican chairman? I don’t consider
myself daring but as a teenager I rappelled into Palo Duro
Canyon.
Q: How did you get into your field?
A: It was a natural transition into business. As I grew
up, I realized that healthcare wasn’t really my calling
but business was.
Q: What accomplishment are you most proud of?
A: My children and grandchildren.
Q: Would you recommend your career for other
people? Why?
A: Sure! It provides the unique opportunity to communicate with people and to help them realize their
dreams, plan for the future and protect their families
and businesses.

you grew up?
A: A doctor
