Glen Prayter —
wConstable for Precinct 3
Glen has been constable for 19 years and has never had a
complaint filed on him. He first started as a reserve officer in
the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area. “My family had a paint and
body shop, so I messed around with that a little, but I always
wanted to be a peace officer.” He went on to be a U.S.
Deputy Marshal for 16 years before becoming a constable.
As constable, his duties are extensive.
“My duties are to bailiff the court, to serve all the civil
process in the State of Texas that comes through this
precinct, plus the US, such as small claims to debt claims,
evictions, seizing cars, boats, writs of possession … serve
warrants, Class ‘C’ stuff,” he explained.
Glen has always had a passion for police work. For him,
this is not a retirement job. “I still get out and communicate
with people. A misconception about constables is that we
work in office nine-to-five, but what we do, in order to catch
people at home, we have to work early in the morning and
evenings.” Glen prides himself on treating people like he
would want to be treated. How does he pay it forward? “I
am a giving person. My favorite charity is Saint Jude. My
wife passed in 2011 and she (we) spent a lot of time down at
MD Anderson and St. Jude was across the street. I learned a
lot about them then and have been hooked ever since.”
For Glen, his best day ever is spending time with his grand-
son. He would most like to be remembered for being
respectful and doing his job with due diligence.

Chris is a professional engineer focused on pushing
boundaries in the industries he’s involved in. “I invent,
design and manufacture high-performance racing engine
components along with precision weapon components,”
he explained. “I strive to innovate to win in an industry
driven by competition.” Chris is a huge dog lover and
Rottweilers are his absolute favorite breed. “They are
members of my Frankenstein team and we bring Hank,
Baron and Elsa to work with us daily. Our employees love
having them around and they are frequently featured on
our social media pages.” Growing up in an Italian family,
Chris has a huge passion for food and cooking. “My mama
taught me when I was very young how to get my hands
dirty in the kitchen. I’ve been told by people that have
eaten my food that my BBQ and Italian is the very best
they’ve ever had, enough where it’s been recommended
for me to open a restaurant one day.” Chris wants to be
remembered as a man that was a dedicated husband,
father, and genuine person that cared immensely for those
closest to him.
