Continued from page 74 Paul Paschall — Mayor of Weatherford  Our beloved mayor wears several hats on a daily basis. “I am a husband of 23 years to Courtney; a father to Walker and Gencye; owner of Paschall Insurance Group, LLC; and currently serve as the Mayor of Weatherford,” he explained. “Each of these areas in my life are an abso- lute honor. Faith, family and community service are the priorities of my life.” Paul enjoys listening to the opinions of other people, even when they disagree. “Listening helps me understand effectively, broadens my knowledge base and supports making more quali- fied decisions. Even when I completely disagree with the position of another person, I continue to embrace them as an individual that adds value to my life. Simply stated, I don’t take disagreement personally.”  Paul likes to pay it forward, trying to help in a manner that is commonly overlooked, something that can be far more than financial in nature. For Paul, each morn- ing when his feet hit the floor constitutes the best day ever. Paul would most like to be remembered for being the best husband and dad in the world. “The daily rela- tionship I have with Courtney, Walker and Gencye are my legacy.” James Brownlee — Theatre Instructor Practitioner at Weatherford College  78 James loves his job because he knows the power of live storytelling and its potential to bring people together and change lives. Most people don’t know that he has Tourette’s Syndrome. His favorite way of paying it forward is to take care of his students. “I try to take care of my students as much as I can and mentor them in the same way that I was taken care of and mentored by my professors,” he explained. His best day ever would be a rewarding day of being with his students and then getting to spend time with his wife and children. Best piece of advice? “Just because you feel something very strongly, that doesn’t mean that it is true.”
