Enjoy!  Greg Hood — Mayor of Springtown  20 When Greg isn’t busy being mayor, he works for Tri-County Electric as a senior designer, having worked there for 27 years. He enjoys the job because “I have the opportunity to meet people that are moving to our area or wanting additional service.” Most people don’t know that Greg’s family goes back four generations in Springtown and he has been married to his wife, Rita, for 38 years. Greg’s favorite way to pay it forward is to give a helping hand to some- one in need. “It seems someone is always doing kind things for me,” he explained. “A friend of mine used to say to me, ‘Go out and make the world a better place.’ I feel if I have done that, then that would be, a best day ever.” Greg would most like to be remembered for being a faithful husband that was honored by his family, friends, and the community.
