the most playful. Mornings with small children are sometimes the best.
• Mum, choose what you want to wear first! It must be comfortable and avoid low cut tops. Then choose the rest of the family’ s clothing to fit in with yours.
• Relax and have fun!!!! The Photographer is your director and knows how to get the best out of your family- this is what they love to do!

Now you’ ve got heaps of great shots of your children and family, what do you do with them?
Display your photos
Free your photos from your phone, camera and computer and put them on show for everyone to see! Make one wall a family photo wall and display your photos. Kids love to look at themselves and it’ s a great visual way to see how much they have grown, and provide a talking point for you and your family.
Combine photos and memories together. Using a free photo editor program like PicMonkey you can easily add text to your photos. This is a great way to remember things about your child at a certain point in time.
Photo Books
For my daughter’ s fifth birthday I created a photo book of her first five years. This was a great way to display a collection of photos and memories that she will hopefully cherish and be able to show her own children in years to come. I did a double page for each year with memories and developments from each year, and then included other categories like celebrations, family, holidays and home.
One of these books would also be great for baby’ s first year. The changes that take place over that first year are so immense and a book would be a great way to capture them, from a helpless little newborn through to an inquisitive little person full of personality and
wonder. Use a double page for each month, and display photos and memories of that month – it would be a great place to record milestones, favourite toys and activities. How about making a personalised ABC book for your toddler with photos of family, pets, and familiar surroundings? What a lovely way for them to learn their ABC’ s and first words.
There are a wide range of places that offer photo books and most can conveniently be done online which is great as you can take as long as you like to create them. I have always used Snapfish and have been happy with their products.
Calendars
Photo Calendars are a great way to display photos in a practical way, and you get new photos to look at every month!
These have become standard issue Christmas presents for the grandparents which they all love to receive.
