Uniform Requirements
At Crofton House School , the uniform promotes pride , self-confidence , and a feeling of belonging within the student body and broader community . It removes preconceived ideas about what to wear , allowing for greater group cohesion and commonality .
All Crofton House School students must wear the complete regulation school uniform during school hours . We ask that parents / guardians assist in having their daughters attend in the correct school uniform . All uniform items should be clean and pressed at all times and clearly labelled with the student ’ s name .
# 1 UNIFORM
The # 1 Uniform will be worn for Monday assemblies , special assemblies and on curricular excursions unless otherwise specified . All items must be purchased through the Uniform Shop with the exception of footwear , socks and tights .
• Gordon tartan school skirt ( the skirt cannot be more than 10.5 cm above the knee )
• CHS gray pants , hemmed to shoe length
• Navy v-neck sweater or sweater vest ( optional )
• Navy three-button blazer with CHS crest
• White blouse
• CHS Tie ( Grade 12s only )
• Low-heeled , polishable black shoes the blazer . Scarves are not part of # 1 Uniform .
DAILY UNIFORM
• Gordon tartan school skirt ( the skirt cannot be more than 10.5 cm above the knee )
• Gray pants , hemmed to shoe length
• Navy sweater , v-neck , cardigan , crew top or fleece
• White blouse or polo shirt , short or longsleeved
• Varsity crew top
• Biker shorts ( optional )
• Gordon tartan scarf ( optional )
FALL & WINTER OPTION ( SEPTEMBER TO MARCH HOLIDAY )
• Navy knee socks
• Navy or black tights ( opaque )
• Grad sweatshirt ( Grade 12 only )
SPRING OPTION ( AFTER MARCH BREAK )
• White knee-high socks ( optional )
SHOES
Black , non-athletic formal shoes or ankle boots .
CHS fleece and / or sweatshirt is not to be worn under
