Visitor Parking On Campus
There are a limited number of visitor parking spaces in the Blenheim Street roundabout outside of drop-off and pick-up times . There is no visitor parking on campus during drop-off and pick-up .
Visitor Parking Off Campus
Parents / guardians and visitors may park for up to three hours on streets adjacent to the School . When parking in these areas , please respect the property and needs of our neighbours . As roads are narrow , extra caution is required to ensure traffic circulation is not hindered and driveways remain open .
Student Parking On Campus
A limited number of parking spaces are available in the parkade for Grade 12 students only . Students who need to drive to school must register their vehicles with the Senior School office . The parkade entrance is controlled by keypad entry except for a limited time at the beginning of the day . There is no student drop-off in the school parking garage .
Visitor Protocol
Crofton House School welcomes visitors to the School for school-related purposes . Students wishing to invite a visitor to school must seek approval in advance from the homeroom teacher in ECE and the Junior School , and the Assistant Director , Student Life in the Senior School . In general , guests of students will be met at the ECE Centre Office , Junior School Office , the Senior School Office , reception in the Old Residence or the Admissions Office . Visitors who spend time in students ’ presence will be supervised at all times .
Groups of students visiting the School to participate in a school-related activity ( curricular or co-curricular ) will be supervised at all times by Crofton House School staff or adult supervisors from the visiting school .
Parents / guardians wishing to bring visitors onto campus must contact the Admissions Office beforemaking any arrangements .
Photography and Recording on Campus
The advancement of digital technology has made it easier to take pictures or record videos of people . Capturing important moments and events through photographs , videos , and audio recordings is valuable , whether the School or community members do it for personal use . However , it ’ s also important for Crofton House School to protect the privacy of its community members , as stated in the School ’ s Privacy Policy .
The School requires the cooperation of all community members to uphold the On-Campus Photographing and Recording Policy which outlines two conditions for the photographing or recording individuals or events on campus .
• Events that include community members beyond students and staff and individuals whose personal privacy could be breached require a full restriction of photography and recording .
• Events that include community members beyond students and staff , and it is reasonable to : a ) assume individuals will be photographed or recorded for personal use , and b ) likely that others will be inadvertently photographed or recorded , will require a cautioned restriction of photography and recording .
