We also either include a special lunch or me- zonos treat in honor of the day. Please send your child in Shabbos clothing on these days, and follow up by re- viewing the materials in your child’s parsha binder at home during your own family celebration (elementary). For major chassidish yomim tovim we always have addi- tional school programming such as rallies, farbrengens and special activites related to the day. SPECIAL ACTIVITIES At Lamplighters Yeshivah we will frequently take walk- ing trips to local places of interest. You will be notified of these walking trips and may be required to complete a permission slip. The school also arranges for special field trips by van or bus. You will receive information about these special field trips in advance and be asked to sign a permission form. All children in the program will be restrained in a child seat for these trips. The cost of field trips is covered by your child’s tuition. We encour- age parents to take trips with the group. Throughout the year, we arrange for special classes in 25
