Prorated Camp Fees
Camp fees will be prorated in whole weeks only and only after the camp session has begun, subject to the camp supervisor’ s approval and discretion. This option is limited to camps with available space. For example, if a camper starts on a day other than Monday, they must pay for the entire week they begin. Prorated registrations will only be accepted within one week of the camper’ s start date. Please keep in mind that prorated fees are not available for reasons such as vacation, travel, family commitments, or other conflicts. The only exceptions are for medical considerations, not including general illnesses, such as injuries supported by a doctor’ s note. These requests are subject to the supervisor’ s discretion.
Refunds
Refunds must be requested at least 7 days before the start of the refunded week.
Beginning May 5, a 20 % cancellation charge per total section fee per child will be assessed for camps up to a maximum of $ 200 per section per child. Refunds will only be made in full week increments. Refunds will not be issued when a camper misses camp for any reason, including illness. Exceptions will only be made for injuries with a signed doctor’ s note.
How Do I Get a Refund?
Call 847-724-5670, email registration @ glenviewparks. org, or visit Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave., to apply for a refund. Allow two weeks to receive your refund. Refunds will be issued net of any outstanding balance owed to the park district. If there is no outstanding balance, the refund will be made by check or credit card based upon the method of payment used at the time of registration. No refund checks issued under $ 2.
