Chris waited patiently in the hallway of their family home as his wife Angela did a final check of their bedroom for their belongings. When she entered the hall, they gazed at each for a moment and smiled with excitement. Their bags were packed, flights were confirmed and the tenants were scheduled to rent their property in the morning. This simple checklist was a prelude to the couple's 8-month travel adventure overseas.
With the gorgeous mountainous views from Lake Como, Italy, to the old world charm of Bucharest, Romania, Chris and Angela documented their travels with vibrant photographs and videos, which captured the culture, character and rich history of the many countries that they visited. Leaving one country and then visiting the next had become their new normal. This nomadic way of living prompted the couple to chronicle their memories to share with their friends and family. It was shortly after that they developed a following on social media, which in turn attracted other fellow travelers. The couple soon caught the eye of ABC Travel Romania which is a popular travel blog.
As the Dowins perused the streets of each town and city, they soaked in the sites and sounds, that is when their passion for photography ignited. With their eye for detail, use of natural light and choice of environments make for some of the most striking photos to grace their online gallery. Chris and Angela have photographed some of the most beautiful skylines, country sides, architecture, and people. Each photo can be considered a piece of art, the colors draw you in and captivate you.
Now a business, Dowin Photography continues to hone the crafts necessary to satisfy their customers with each shoot. Their portfolio consists of weddings, model pictorials, engagements, holidays, events and special moments.
