Formative Research for Graduate Teachers in Dramatic Arts
Pesquisa formativa para bacharéis em artes cênicas
Summary This paper shows the debate about the processes of the formative research for the graduate teachers, especially, in the area of either artistic education or dramatic arts. It also sets out the necessity to overcome the polarization between structural and voluntarist positions of this debate by understanding that research is, essentially, a way of thinking and giving sense to the world through pertinent questions for a community of practice and knowledge. The abilities and faculties involved in the statement of research problems are described. The relationship among the artistic, pedagogical and cultural aspects is defined as well as the proposal of methodological strategies to assume concretely the relationship between teaching and learning. At last, there is a call to overcome the dichotomy between methodologies and research, on the one hand; and the artistic aspects as the object of research, on the other. In this regards, it is stated that what is understood by artistic should orient the epistemological and methodological direction of the research processes.

Resumo Este artigo põe em perspectiva o debate sobre os processos de pesquisa formativa para bacharéis e, em especial, para bacharéis em Educação Artística ou em Artes Cênicas. Expõe a necessidade de superar a polarização entre posições estruturais e voluntaristas de dito debate, a partir de entender que a pesquisa é, em essência, uma forma de pensar e dar sentido ao mundo, através de perguntas pertinentes para uma comunidade de prática e de saber. Descrevem-se as habilidades e faculdades envolvidas na formulação de problemas de pesquisa, se define a relação entre o artístico, a pedagogia e a cultura, e se propõem estratégias metodológicas com as quais assumir concretamente a relação ensino-aprendizagem. Por último, se faz um chamado para superar a dicotomia entre metodologias de pesquisa, por um lado, e o artístico como objeto de pesquisa, por outro. Com respeito a isso, se afirma que o que se entende pelo artístico deve orientar a direção epistemológica e metodológica dos processos de pesquisa.
