Introduction:
" A parabola is a curve where any point is at an equal distance from: a fixed point (the focus),and a fixed straight line (the directrix)"
This work consists in showing the use that parabolas have in our daily lives and also how well we learned to solve and determine the number of solutions in a quadratic equation
. All this knowledge and reflection will be shown trough a mathematical magazine. The first step for making this proyect was getting assigned an equation by our professor in Google Classroom and then solving it on a milimetric paper ,also given by the professor, with the two methods we learned during the bimester, graphic method and general formula. The next thing I did was reading carefully the instructions for knowing exactly what this work should inlcude. Next I started taking pictures of parabolas in my environment. Finally I started creating this magazine.
