1. Get a PANIC advocate to support and help you. Insure you have completed a Jotform (ask advocate)

2. Lawyer. (if needed)

3. OIA (Official InformatIon Act) forms and agent forms

4. Enroll in parenting/Drug & Alcohol/Domestic Violence courses, life coach or other (If applicable)

5. Record keeping, copies of letters, emails etc put into a file. (see prev issues of panic mag on how to do this)

6. Large calendar to have by phone and small appointment book, so important dates such as access visits,meetings, court dates etc can be noted and seen easily.

7. Personal assessment: Look at self, home, friends, education etc and see what can be changed or improved on. Seek local courses or supports to improve where needed. Consider an evening course to make the evenings a little easier.

8. Get healthy. Relaxation skills, diet and personal habit changes to insure your at your best for the road ahead.

9. Find things that make you laugh or at the very least smile a little through music, friendships, art, funny movies. Make a rule to smile away the tears a little more each day.
