Required Documents
FOR EVENT APPLICATION
Documents required for the city’ s permit application include the floor plan, transportation letter, and the certificate of insurance. All three documents must be received a minimum of 70 days prior to the requested event date, as we need them in order to file the application. If the city does not have the documents within 60 days of the event, the city will not accept the application.
Event and Wedding Planners are required for all events.
Sound
• Amplified music is not allowed in outside areas. Client must uphold the noise restriction ordinances enforced by the City of Palm Springs. Client should refer to the Good Neighbor Brochure for further guidance and details.
• Client shall not use any radio receiver, musical instrument, phonograph, loudspeaker, sound amplifier, or any machine or device for the production or reproduction of any sound. All sound must be contained and conducted within an enclosed premises and not audible to the neighbors.
• Client agrees that any unreasonable noise disturbances resulting in a call from a neighbor, a visit by law enforcement or Natural Retreats will result in a minimum $ 500 charge to client’ s credit card, plus the city fine.
• Client agrees to pay any fees imposed by the city to the owner of the premises due to unreasonable noise disturbances.
Refuse & Damages
• Client will secure a dumpster rental for pickup during load-out or remove all trash at the conclusion of the event.
• Caterer or client agrees to remove excessive trash from the premises generated by the event.
• Client is responsible for ensuring that all related event equipment, debris, and trash are removed, and that the property is left in the same condition and repair as upon arrival no later than the load out time( required departure time). Generator and dumpster to be kept to the side yard.
• Client is responsible for all damages to the property caused by client, client invitees, vendors, and guests. Natural Retreats will bill client for all necessary replacement and repair costs within 90 days of the end of the event term.
