to step up and play better, than we are going to look at them to. He knows the offense and he learned it quite a bit and I am looking at him being the guy.”
On defense, the Indians were just as impressive allowing 18.6 points per game and 2.42 rushing yards. Gould said that was a big reason for the success from the Indians.
He also had three players with over 100 tackles in Tucker Palmer( 164), Davis Holladay( 150) and Sircorvious Foster with 110.
“ I will say the reason for the successful season that we had is I think our defense played lights out,”
Gould said.“ We held opponents to less than three yards per carry and to do that in high school football is huge. I thought we did a good job in the secondary.”
Gould said realignment in February could see fans possibly traveling for the new two years.
“ I could see us going in with Italy or Dawson or possibly Alba Golden, Hawkins and Big Sandy and that direction,” Gould said.“ We will be the farthest team in the district. I will be the most surprised this year and I don’ t even have a guess.”
