CAIN CENTER YMCA + CAIN PARK: The Cain Center YMCA features an olympic-sized indoor swimming pool, summer camps, group classes and personal training sessions for members and nonmembers. CANTON FIRST MONDAY TRADE DAYS: Known as the“ World’ s Largest Flea Market,” dealers at the 450-acre First Monday Park sell antiques, handcrafted and imported goods, food and drink and just about everything else. First Monday Trade Days fall on four days at the beginning or end of each month.

CEDAR CREEK LAKE: One of the largest lakes in Texas, Cedar Creek Lake covers 34,000 acres across Henderson and Kaufman counties and reaches depths of 60 feet. The lake offers fishing, recreational boating activities, a park with playground equipment and bird watching. Camping and boat ramps are also available.

3 P’ S IN A VINE WINERY: 3 P’ s in a Vine produces several varieties of red and white wines and serves them in a lovely country setting with a limited bistro menu. Wine tastings, special events, craft classes and book club meetings also fill out the winery’ s schedule. Out of town guests can stay the night at The Perch, a small log cabin on the property.
