LAKES: Blue Lake Park, located on Armory Road, is great for fishing. There is a boat access.
Lower Lake Park, located at 1045 Water Works Road, features a covered picnic table, a fishing pier and a boat ramp.
Upper Lake Park, located on Upper Lake Road and Water Works Road, features four covered picnic tables, a grill and a fishing pier on the east side and two shelters with picnic tables and a boat ramp on the west side. Upper Lake serves as the entrance to the Community Forest Trailhead, which includes approximately one mile of trails along a portion of the lake.
Wolf Creek Lake, located on Private Road 6421, features picnic areas, hiking trails, fishing and boat ramp access for small boats.
OTHER CITY AMENITIES: City Pool The city pool at Steven Bennett Park, 5500 N. Loop 256, will be open through Sept. 20.
Pool operation and maintenance services are being provided through a contract service with USA Pools of Texas during both the regular and extended seasons.
